Terms of Engagement
I acknowledge that by submitting this information form to Forbes Attorney at Law PLLC, doing business as SnapWills, (hereafter "Firm") I have not formed a client relationship with the Firm. Such client relationship will only form after I have met with a Firm attorney via phone or online video conference.
I acknowledge that I have engaged the Firm for the sole limited purpose of drafting a last will and testament, a power of attorney document and/or a healthcare power of attorney document (hereafter “estate planning documents”). I understand that my engagement with the Firm does not include any advice or services regarding estate taxation, accounting, estate administration or litigation.
I acknowledge that any monetary payment made to the Firm is a pre-payment for legal services with the possibility of a refund and not a retainer for legal services.
I acknowledge that the Firm will not store my estate planning documents and that I bear sole responsibility for safekeeping of my estate planning documents.
I certify that the sum of my real and personal property does not exceed five million dollars ($5,000,000) individually or ten million dollars ($10,000,000) collectively with my spouse.
I grant and give my informed consent after the Firm has proposed the course of conduct, has communicated adequate information, and has explained all material risks of and reasonable available alternatives to the proposed course of conduct.
I have read these terms of engagement and, by submitting this form to the Firm, agree to these terms of engagement.
